​🪽 Listened to the new Ariana Grande album "Petal". It had a really interesting, synth-y sound. Loved the story the album told. I also really love the music video she put out for the leading single. I love the way music videos lately have had such a cinematic experience. 

​🪽 Listened to Tate McRae's album "So Close To What". I just wanted to try and step inside her world, but I'm not really into it. I think the lyrics are too... vague? It's just not deep enough, and it feels like amateur pop. It's just not for me. I will re-visit and see if she comes out with newer music that resonates, or that is deeper, or has more compelling stories. ​ 🪽My mom finally has her pool set up, unfortunately its so late into the summer, but we're gonna try to make the best of it! They were suppose to install in mid July but it wasn't up until the end of the first week of Aug, and then it was another week because they built it so far from her deck she had to have a platform connecting it, and the chemicals needed time to marinate.​ 🪽Closely following the Lindsay Clancy Trial. I have been watching true crime for so long, but sometimes I have to take breaks because it can be really hard on the mind. But this case is fascinating, and devastating all at the same time. Really hoping there is some kind of justice, and that hopefully some real change in post partum care ignites. I think the defence attorney is masterful, and there is seemingly a lot of strange holes and inconsistencies with the original story. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. ​ 🪽If you have following me for any time, you know that for Halloween I do a neighborhood of renovated haunted doll houses. I scored a tree house recently, and already flipped it. I think it's perfect for my display. Once I get enough houses. I try to make sure I start looking for more unique pieces. It has so many cool features that really resemble the tree house the trick-or-treaters from The Nightmare Before Christmas play in.  ​🪽I also got a really cool PlayMobil Scooby Doo haunted house, but I'm afraid to paint it! It's apparently a collectable, and it's discontinued. It's on ebay for hundreds of dollars. I think Im going to hold off painting it, for a year to see if I can find or score another one like it. I saw another one on Marketplace the week after I bought mine off someone on there, and they were selling it for $200, on ebay they are going for as much as $900, I got mine for $40! ​ 🪽Planning a little fall get together with some friends and family, and I'm really excited about it, it's called a "Crow & Trinket Party". Guests where black and come with trinkets to trade. As the host I've been purchasing more than what guests are expected to bring. But I'll tell you more about it next month!!  🪽We had a weekend up at Mom's that we talked about having since last winter. For months my Mom has been focused on bringing her home back to life. She always says "If you build it, they will come" which I think is from some 90s movie lol. But I took my family up Friday and Saturday to spend time, and finally get in her pool she waited so long for. It was fucking COLD, but after a while it was really nice, especially when the sun was out! My cousin was back home visiting, I hadn't seen her since I was like thirteen, so that was really cool too. We brought my sister up Saturday, just wish my brother wasn't so busy this weekend. We all just relaxed, smoked some joints, swam, and we brought up a bunch of food. It was perfect.  🪽Another great weekend at Mom's. The water was so much better this time! An old family friend popped in to say Hi! Was nice, I hadn't seen her since probably 2010? Time flies! But I had a nice time singing and dancing to some 70s funk, and 80s rock with my Mom and her cousin. 🪽Really enjoyed the newest episode of Amy Poehler's Podcast "Good Hang" with Keke Palmer. Just two genuinely funny and hardworking women laying it all out. It was nice, relatable. I really enjoy watching her interview guests I know, she really knows how to pull out the best of people. 

🪽Back to school is just around the corner. Which means a more predictable schedule! I know you guys have really missed me this summer. Thanks for being patient. 

🪽​Absolutely devastating, the passing of Miss Dolly Parton. Loved her since I was a little girl, grew up listening to her with my grandfather, enjoyed twirling to her songs, and even as recent as the last couple of years, just absolutely appreciated the way Beyonce collaborated with her, and honored her. Dolly was so beautiful inside and out, and lived a very inspiring life, dedicated to making this world a better, more literate, and loving place. 🦋
