I Can't Help It

There is this unique thing that happens to me from mid-May to early June, where suddenly... I miss Halloween. I think it's because the weather is finally warming up, and Spring can feel a lot like Fall. The air is crisp, and I'm outside again. It triggers my brain. I get excited and start feeling my spark again. I love doing things big for the holidays, it's such a great excuse to have fun, and try new things. That's one of the best parts of my job. My peers are really inspiring during holidays too, which just makes it feel like such a big community event. Halloween lets me step outside of my everyday self while still bringing my personality into it. I can be cute, creepy, angelic, villainous, glamorous, chaotic, romantic, or completely ridiculous. There are endless directions to go.

I Have To Admit

I feel like I have dropped the ball the last couple of years. Just not executing the way I usually do, granted I was going through a lot. But, the interest and love for it has never faded. I really want to challenge myself this year. Plan early. Shoot early. And BE READY! That way when it comes around, things are scheduled, and launch is easy.

Costume Ideas

New costumes always get the inspiration flowing. I have collected some new outfits over the last few years that you guys haven't even seen yet! They will be making a debut this year! I have such a clear vision. One thing that I really like that I do, is that I mix up the outfits and spread them out across mediums. Sometimes a costume/character is a roleplay video. Sometimes it's just a photoset. Some I will only wear on stream. It's kind of breeds a "gotta catch 'em all" vibe.... Actually that just gave me an idea. ✍️✍️Write that down✍️✍️But it ensures that whatever you're consuming, wherever it may be, is something interesting.

More Then Just Sexy Costumes

The outfits are fun, obviously, but the whole season gives us a reason to make everything feel more playful, nostalgic, and interactive. This year I want to host a spooky movie night, or two or three. Everyone picks a scary movie, a nostalgic Halloween classic, or even a cheesy bad horror movie to watch together. I love the idea of making it feel like a virtual sleepover. With snacks, blankets, candles, commentary, and everyone reacting together like we are all hanging out in the same room. This is me quietly telling you that sometimes I'm too chicken to watch scary movies alone! I've got other ideas too but I don't want to ruin everything.
